This policy explains how refunds work for our programme and consultation service and how medication returns are handled. Because we provide a medical service and do not supply medication directly, different rules apply to programme fees and to medication.
Our programme covers the clinical assessment, doctor review, and related support at R299 per month. The following applies:
We do not sell or dispense medication. Medication is supplied by the pharmacy where you collect it. For safety and legal reasons, medication generally cannot be returned or refunded once it has been dispensed. Any questions about medication returns should be directed to the dispensing pharmacy, subject to their policies and applicable law.
Blood tests are arranged through and paid to your pathology laboratory. Any queries about laboratory fees or refunds should be directed to the laboratory concerned.
To request a refund or cancel your programme, contact us at hello@weightlossdoctors.co.za with your details and the reason for your request. We aim to respond within a reasonable period and to process approved refunds promptly to the original payment method.
If you believe you have been charged in error or there has been a problem with our service, please contact us so we can investigate and put it right. Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act or other applicable South African law.
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page with the updated date shown above.
